European Flax® Linen: An Exceptional European Fibre
At Luberone, we carefully select linen fabrics sourced from European Flax® certified supply chains. This certification guarantees the European origin of the flax fibre and ensures full traceability throughout the supply chain.
Cultivated mainly in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, European flax is renowned worldwide for the exceptional quality of its fibres. It benefits from ideal natural growing conditions and generations of agricultural expertise.
The fabrics we select for our garments meet the requirements of the European Flax® standard. This certification promotes environmentally responsible farming practices, without systematic irrigation, without GMOs and with a responsible use of natural resources.
Flax fibre extraction, known as scutching, is carried out using a purely mechanical process without the use of chemical treatments. This method preserves the natural qualities of the fibre and contributes to making linen one of the most durable and appreciated textile materials.
By choosing European Flax® certified linen fabrics, we embrace a noble, breathable and timeless material that perfectly reflects the spirit of every Luberone collection.
